Public Notice
Notice is hereby given that the resignations of all Parish Councillors were formally submitted on 23 January 2026. In addition, the Clerk has worked her contractual notice period throughout January, which has now come to an end, with her final working day being 30 January 2026.
As a result, there will be a temporary period during which East Riding of Yorkshire Council will provide interim support to ensure the continued administration of the Parish. This will include assistance with the appointment of temporary councillors and supporting the re-establishment of the Parish Council as swiftly as possible.
During this interim period, any concerns relating to parish matters should be directed to one of the Ward Councillors.
Any matters relating specifically to the Village Hall should be raised directly with the Caretaker.
Further information and updates will be published in due course.

Following the resignation of the Parish Council and the conclusion of the Clerk’s notice period, the Parish Council is currently unable to administer matters relating to the Village Hall.
During this interim period, all enquiries, concerns, and booking requests relating to the Village Hall must be directed to the Caretaker, who will continue to manage day-to-day operational matters.
The Village Hall remains in use, and further information will be issued once the Parish Council has been re-established.
